Check which vaccinations are required for your destination. Do this by entering your destination country in the country finder. The relevant advice will be clearly shown: you will immediately see which vaccinations are generally recommended, and which vaccinations will depend on your health, and your travel and accommodation situation.

Make an appointment

Once you know your travel date, it is best to make an appointment as early as possible. Preferably six weeks before departure. Most vaccinations give immediate protection, but some require a second or third dose before traveling.

Save the advice you get

If you don’t know your departure date yet or you want to be able to easily retrieve the vaccination advice, then you can save the advice on your phone. Do this by tapping your browser’s Share icon and selecting the ‘Add to Home Screen’ option. Your advice will now be shown as a shortcut on your phone’s home screen without having to install anything.


Tip: The saved information can also be useful during your trip. The advice shows you what diseases are prevalent in your destination country and how to recognize them should you have symptoms. Timely action may help prevent a serious infection.
